The programs, in detail

Four programs of 4 to 10 weeks, worked on your rooms, your light and your own plants.

Program 01 · The two things that matter

Light & water

We map the light in each of your rooms — direction, distance from the window, obstructions — and place your plants against it. Then watering: checking weight and soil rather than following a schedule, and choosing pots and mixes that forgive mistakes.

Weeks 1–2 · Light

What each window actually delivers, hour by hour.

Weeks 3–4 · Placement

Right plant, right spot, honestly assessed.

Weeks 5–6 · Water and soil

Weight, drainage and mixes that suit you.

Weeks 1–2 · Reading damage

What each pattern of yellowing means.

Weeks 3–4 · Pests

Identifying gnats, mites, mealybugs and scale.

Weeks 5–6 · Treatment

Isolation, cleaning and treatments used correctly.

Program 02 · Read the leaves

Problems & pests

Send photographs — whole plant, close-up of the damage, and the soil surface. Yellow lower leaves, crispy edges and sudden drooping each mean different things. We identify pests properly and treat them with the least aggressive thing that works, following label directions.

Program 03 · More plants, free

Repotting & propagation

Repotting is done too often and at the wrong time by most people. We cover the signs that it's genuinely needed, how to check roots, pot sizing, and then propagation — water, soil and division — so your collection grows without spending anything.

Weeks 1–2 · When to repot

Roots, drainage and the right pot size.

Weeks 3–4 · Doing it

Handling roots and settling a plant afterwards.

Weeks 5–6 · Propagation

Cuttings, nodes, water and soil.

Weeks 1–2 · The shift

Less light, less water, no feeding.

Weeks 3–4 · Air and light

Humidity, radiators and whether a lamp is worth it.

Program 04 · The hard months

Seasons & winter

Most plant deaths happen between November and March, when light drops and radiators dry the air. We adjust watering, humidity and feeding for the season, and cover grow lights honestly — which ones help, and where they're unnecessary.
